FAQ Registration

How do I register for a Hearing First Learning Experience?

Go to the catalog, click the ‘REGISTER NOW’ button for the course you wish to sign up for. You can click ‘LEARN MORE’ which leads to an overview page detailing everything you need to know! If you aren’t already a member of either the Professional Learning Community or Family Support Community, you’ll need to join first.

Can I register for a learning experience course if I can’t attend a live session?

You’re welcome to register; in fact, we encourage it! You’ll have access to all content, recorded live sessions, and resources even after the course closes. Look for recorded sessions in the ‘Resources’ section which are posted the day after the live session. Note that you must attend the live session for CE credit.

How can I register for a learning experience if I missed the deadline?

If you miss the registration window, keep an eye out for it next time!

How do I find the learning experiences I’m registered for?

You have access to everything you’ve registered for in your dashboard. After you log into your community, click your profile in the top right to open the drop-down menu and click “My Dashboard”.

How can I request accommodations for a learning experience?

Real-time captioning is provided in all Hearing First Learning Experiences. For any other special accommodation requests, please email learn@hearingfirst.org. Note that special accommodation requests must be submitted 14 days prior to the first live session.

How will I be notified is a learning experience has been changed or cancelled?

In the event that a learning experience is changed or cancelled we will immediately notify you by email.

How do I withdraw from a learning experience?

We encourage you to stay registered to maintain access to all of the learning within the course even after the course closes. If you’d still like to be removed, email us at learn@hearingfirst.org.
