FAQ Wrapping Up

What are the requirements for earning a certificate of completion?

We take the provision of continuing education seriously. You earn a certificate by completing all course requirements and completing a self-assessment. Hearing First offers no partial credit. Based on our agreements with the CE professional organizations, we cannot make exceptions.

CE requirements are different for each learning experience. Look for general requirements on the overview page of each course before registering. Once registered, you can find detailed requirements in the course.

You can expect to:

  • Complete all content in the course space
  • Participate in the discussions, if applicable
  • If the course has a live session, participate actively in all live sessions, including greeting upon login, answering polls and sharing in chat for the entire duration, and adding to chat before signing out.
  • Complete the self-assessment within a week after the course finishes

What if I didn’t complete all course requirements?

If you were unable to complete all CE requirements, you still have access to all content and recordings. We hope you’ll continue using the content for your practice! Though you won’t receive CE credits or a Certificate of Completion, you’ll receive a feedback survey. This survey is optional but will help us make improvements based on your valuable feedback.

When can I expect the self-assessment after I’ve completed all course requirements?

For courses with a live session, we process CE requirements after the last live session. If you’ve completed all CE requirements, you’ll receive an email with a link.

What if I can’t find the email with the self-assessment link?

Check your spam or junk mail folders. You can also access the survey from the top of the course homepage. Be sure to complete the survey within one week after the last live session.

When will I receive my Certificate of Completion after completing a learning experience?

We’ll email you a link to your Certificate of Completion after completing the feedback survey. You can also find a link to your certificates on your dashboard.

Where can I re-download my Hearing First Certificate of Completion?

You’ll find the link to any Certificates of Completion on your dashboard.
