How do I register for a Hearing First Learning Experience?

Go to the catalog, click the ‘REGISTER NOW’ button for the course you wish to sign up for. You can click ‘LEARN MORE’ which leads to an overview page detailing everything you need to know! If you aren’t already a member of either the Professional Learning Community or Family Support Community, you’ll need to join first.

Can I register for a Learning Experience if I can’t attend a live session?

You’re welcome to register; in fact, we encourage it! You’ll have access to all content, recorded live sessions, and resources. Look for recorded sessions in the ‘Resources’ section which are posted the day after the live session. Note that you must attend the live session for CE credit.

How can I register for a Learning Experience if I missed the deadline?

If you missed the registration window, keep an eye out for it next time!

How do I find the Learning Experiences I’m registered for?

You have access to everything you’ve registered for in your learning dashboard. After you log into your community, click your profile in the top right to open the drop-down menu and click “My Learning Dashboard”.

How do I withdraw from a Learning Experience?

We encourage you to stay registered to maintain access to all of the learning within the course. If you’d still like to be removed, email us at learn@hearingfirst.org.

Connect the Dots

An excellent resource for professionals to use with families, this eBook shows the logic chain that connects basic brain biology and how we learn to talk and read. Created with Dr. Carol Flexer, Ph.D., CCC/A, LSLS Cert. AVT, this eBook will help families understand each step on the path, or link in the logic chain, to help their child reach their full potential.
