One great way to teach your baby with hearing loss to become a strong listener is a simple strategy called Hear It Before They See It, or sometimes known as, "Audition First."

What does Hear It Before They See It mean? It's all about ear contact before eye contact. Say the words about an activity or object before your baby sees it or sing a favorite song before showing the actions.

Letting your baby hear first helps them develop listening and talking skills that they’ll use throughout their whole life!
