Welcome to LSL Strategies Part 2: How to Point Out Sound

As a new listener, your baby doesn't know what sound is or what's important to listen to yet. This is where you come in! In this lesson, you’ll discover easy ways you can point out sounds and teach your baby what they mean in your everyday routines.

To do this, you’ll practice using the Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) strategies, Be a Director and Be a Bird Dog. Based on research about what little brains need to learn to listen and talk, these strategies are simple yet powerful tools to help your baby listen, talk, read, and thrive.
