Take a moment to reflect and write down the goals you have for checking and caring for your baby’s hearing devices. You could set a reminder on your phone or hang a note on your fridge or by your baby’s crib to help reach them!

Here are some ideas for new goals to set.

Write down the action steps you’d like to take to care for your baby’s hearing devices.

  • I’m going to set up my baby’s device station in a convenient, dry, child-proof, and pet-proof place.
  • I will make sure my baby’s device kit includes the tools I need to check and care for the devices.
  • I’m planning to have my baby’s hearing devices checked and ready to go before my baby wakes up each morning.
  • I’m going to make sure my baby’s earmolds fit snugly in their ears and, if they don’t, I'll make an appointment to get new earmolds.
  • I’m going to call my baby’s pediatric audiologist any time I have questions or concerns.

Congratulations!
